Utilising a range of lithographic presses we are able to offer affordable B1 printing for large runs as well as short run leaflet printing which are more suited to our new acquired Ricoh SRA3 digital printer. All presses offer exceptional quality, a fast turn around and allow us to offer a wide range of products.
Lanes has been established for over 100 years in Kent. The Broadstairs company originally had a printing works in Thanet Road and a shop in the High Street. We relocated to our current premises on the Pyson's Road industrial estate in 1997. Substantial investments in equipment have been made to embrace new technology. Our printing is highly economical and time efficient, whilst still being of extremely high quality.
Understanding our impact on the environment has been an important consideration for a number of years. We were involved in a pilot scheme in the 1990's using the first film free method of plate making to reduce chemical wastage to a minimum. We use vegetable oil based inks, paper from sustainable sources and have ISO 14001 accreditation.
This allows greater control of the colour of your logo, fonts and corporate branding between printed leaflets, packaging and marketing print so consistency is never an issue. All our equipment is here, too, meaning we produce everything on site at our office in Broadstairs.
We take conformance very seriously and aim for 100% conformance for every print job.
On top of this a friendly team member will be able to help with planning before the print job and ensure everything runs smoothly and on time once in production.
This includes banding in specific quantities, packing in bespoke trays or cartons, shrink wrapping or courier packs. We can also arrange international shipping on request.
We offer a full graphic design service, packaging design and templates, reprographics or simply assisting to make files print ready.
Being traditional, we have the technical knowledge of the rules of print - such as correct layouts and spacing that is pleasing to the eye (subconsciously makes you like it as it is easy for the brain to process) which unfortunately is being lost with many new designers and DIY artwork.
We ensure we keep innovative and dynamic in design work. We get to know our customer and their target audience to ensure strategic designs are created that will work for the individual customer.

We believe it is important to act responsibly and minimise the effect we have on the environment. We also buy paper as part of the World Land Trust which allows us to carbon balance our paper purchases.
